Providing Northern Virginia families an array of services to help them achieve a healthy, gentle pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta Encapsulation is a two-day process. On the first day, a specialist will come to your home and sterilize your kitchen. She will clean and prepare the placenta using Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques. Once this is complete, she prepares the placenta for dehydration, and will leave the placenta dehydrating in your home overnight. When she returns on the second day, she will fill the capsules.

Childbirth Education

Let Katie help you achieve the birth of your dreams! She is thrilled to provide expectant Gainesville-area couples with education about their childbirth choices, and to assist them in experiencing a healthy, empowering, natural birth.

Birth Doula Support

Birth doulas provide couples with emotional and physical support throughout their pregnancy, labor, and birth, to help them achieve the birth experience they desire.

Umbilical Cord Keepsake

Your baby’s umbilical cord will be dried into keepsake, typically in a heart shape. This sweet memento is a perfect addition to a baby book or a shadow box with a photo. Some families have even chosen to plant the keepsake somewhere special or in a potted plant.

Placenta Tincture

Placenta tincture is an easy addition to the encapsulation service. By using a high grade drinking alcohol and a small piece of placenta, you can make your placenta’s benefits last longer, even after your pills are gone.

Placenta Prints

Placenta prints are a beautiful way for families to honor their baby’s placenta. All prints are done on high quality, acid-free paper.
